Hydrangea paniculata ‘Brussels Lace’
Introduced by Robert and Jelena de Belder, of Arboretum Kalmthout, Belgium, in 1975.
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Brussels Lace’ is a smaller shrub than other H. paniculatas, growing to about 2m. only. Also, unlike other H. paniculatas, the white flowers hardly change colour as they age.
Inflorescence: Panicles, 180mm x 150mm, are disproportionately large than many other larger H. paniculata shrubs.

Ray florets: 4 sepals, rounded, entire, overlapping, 50mm diam.
Zones: 3 to 9
