Introduced from Japan by Philip Franz von Siebold in 1862.

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Grandiflora’ is a large shrub with many firm stems and branches. A severe pruning in spring will promote a large crop of flowers.

Inflorescence: Well-rounded panicles 110 x 120mm across, comprising mostly sterile flowers.
