Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Otaksa’ is a vigorous and floriferous shrub with large flowerheads. This cultivar has been around since 1862 and still deserves a place in any notable hydrangea collection.
Inflorescence: Mophead, 180mm across. The sepals age to white with red spots.
Introduced from Japan by Philip Franz von Seibold in 1862.
