Hydrangea macrophylla ssp. serrata Diadem

Hydrangea serrata ‘Diadem’ is an early flowering lacecap which reliably breaks into flower by the end of May in our BC lower mainland gardens (zone 8).

Inflorescence: Irregularly-shaped lacecap, 70mm diam. Suitable for growing in pots.

Bred by Michael Haworth-Booth, UK, before 1962.

Size: Small (to 1m).
